MUSIC AND ME

Welcome Music lovers. I'm ShaneAllen. I have had a love of music since my birth. After more than 20 years of singing and producing Contemporary Christian music I have decided to try my hand at releasing alternative forms of music. Since pandemic lockdown God has allowed my skills to grow and I have decided to finally release some music I have produced. I will also be featuring my group Melody242and my former group 7/Reconciled. Please enjoy with me.

MAKING THE WORLD SING

Music is powerful. From the Psalms of David to the conscious words of Bob Marley.I believe that it can be used as a most effective means to bring peace to the world! Lets make the world sing one note at a time,


THE HUMAN VOICE

Most of my music both original and covers are performed acappella. From the original latin "music in the style of the church." There is a certain level of creativity and discipline needed for all vocal perfomances.Its also tremendously fun to sing harmony and emulate certain sounds in newer arrangements. I will also feature some songs with my a cappella group 7 formally known as Reconciled and my new group Melody242.

Background

ShaneAllen and Melody 242 came together in the summer of 2023 to produce the song and video  for (Bahamas) Let's Get Together

Shane Allen is joined by Shavonia Adderley (Soprano) and Ken Gibson (Tenors) to produce a lush tight harmnies on this new single.
